Legal Case management system is a comprehensive web-based legal records management platform for capturing, managing, tracking and archiving case files, document management, alerts/notifications, finances and reports. The system is aimed at automating law firm or legal office processes.
The system is implemented on a secure client server architecture and also accessible over a local area network or over a domain network.
The system is modularized for easy management and has the following key modules:
Clients
Handles all the clients relationship management details, from client contacts, correspondence and case/matters.
Case/Matter
The heart of the system, handles all aspects related to legal cases/matters. It contains all the details related to a case.
Document
Manages all the documents added to the system relating to cases ensuring advocates and other system users can access all details by a click of a button.
Calendar / To Do List
Supports system users to manage their diaries and create to do list. The module also supports managing upcoming activities for a case/matter.
Billing & Receipting
Manages finance aspects related to a case/matter. The module also supports in generation of case/matter invoices and payment settlements.
Reports
This module supports generation of several reports related to case/matter, clients, profit/loss, users working on cases. The module supports various report formatsĀ mainly charts, PDF and XLS.
Users & Groups
The system supports con-current access by several users with varying access privileges. The system supports creation of unlimited users and user groups with varying access privileges.
Backup & Restoration
This module is responsible for system backup and restoration to ensure the system has secure restoration points.
